we normally expect students to have about 2-3 yrs work ex.
However we do consider freshers who are outstanding.

Yes you have read right - we are NOT accepting XAT scores from the May 08 intake.
we now only accept CAT/GMAT/SPJAT scores

You may apply now without a score but we will not shortlist a candidate without a score - once you submit your score we will review your application and then you will know the exact status of your application.

Even though my profile is not very bad, I have not been called for the GI/PI phase of SP Jain, Mumbai's PGDM 2yr course. I am afraid, that if I apply for GMBA, with just the cat registration number and not the actual cat score, then my profile might be rejected even for the GMBA course !. While if I manage to get a good enough percentile then my chances of bagging a call might be atleast slightly enhanced (my own opinion though!!).

I have heard that the earlier you apply, the better it is as the decision for calling/not calling an applicant for the GD/PI's is an ongoing process and if I apply right now, that decision might be taken even before the CAT 2007 results are out!! Also I have heard that the actual date after which no applications would be considered may even be before 31st of march, 2008.

Can you please suggest what to do in this regard ?

I do not understand - we require you to fill the date - there is no restriction o n the year you enter - pls clarify so I can convey this to my IT dept.

In any case we will accept 2008 scores - bascially we accpet GMAT scores of upto the past 2 years

Yes GMAT id is the same as GMAT regn.

You may apply now and submit your GMAT score after 21st jan 08

I have filled in my complete application with User Id: manavvirdi

But the Gmat section is showing Gmat Date till 2007 whereas I'm planning to give it on 21 Jan 2008.

Could you pls help me with this.

Is 2008 Gmat not acceptable?
Can i submitt my aplication as of date and submitt the GMAT score after 21 JAN '08?

And Is GMAT ID ( acc to MBA.COM) and GMAT Registration Number acc. to you the same.?

Pls reply at the earliest as a day missed , would make my chances to get into your prestigious institute much more difficult.

When will the SPJAT for May'08 be conducted? Since yours is a rolling process of selection, will the ppl who don't have scores to show yet be at disatvantage as they won't be shortlisted for evaluation till they get their SPJAT score? Thanks for your patience.....
