Hi Rutty,

I've applied to the May'08 intake of GMBA. At the time of filling the online form, applicant's age as on 31st May 08 was required to be filled. But now after submitting the form, the age entered by me is showed corresponding to the age on June 1, 2006. A bug?

thers a shock 4 me...i guess 4 few others as well....4 May 2008 intake SP is not considering XAT scores....can u confirm i got d rt info. or i m wrong.....i wntd 2 apply wid my XAT score of 96 %tile...but i guess my chances are screwed unless i score gud again in CAT or SPJAT.....

hi,

i have completed the online form and when i click on "Submit" I get a javascript error..and no screen is displayed after this.Did anyone else face the same problem?can u suggest an alternative? i have mentioned email id as yahoo id ? is there any problem with yahoo as primary id with getting any confirmation?

Hi Seniors,
I am planning to apply for the June 2008 intake. I see that the last date for
the application process is 31st march. I am expecting a good percentile
(98.5 +) in CAT 2007 and am planning to apply on the basis of that. I don't have GMAT and last yr's CAT scores to show.

Is it fine to wait for the results and apply on the basis of that or should I go ahead and apply right away with the cat registration number ?

Even though my profile is not very bad, I have not been called for the GI/PI phase of SP Jain, Mumbai's PGDM 2yr course. I am afraid, that if I apply for GMBA, with just the cat registration number and not the actual cat score, then my profile might be rejected even for the GMBA course !. While if I manage to get a good enough percentile then my chances of bagging a call might be atleast slightly enhanced (my own opinion though!!).

I have heard that the earlier you apply, the better it is as the decision for calling/not calling an applicant for the GD/PI's is an ongoing process and if I apply right now, that decision might be taken even before the CAT 2007 results are out!! Also I have heard that the actual date after which no applications would be considered may even be before 31st of march, 2008.

Can you please suggest what to do in this regard ?

I'm applying for the June Intake .

I have filled in my complete application with User Id: manavvirdi

But the Gmat section is showing Gmat Date till 2007 whereas I'm planning to give it on 21 Jan 2008.

Could you pls help me with this.

Is 2008 Gmat not acceptable?
Can i submitt my aplication as of date and submitt the GMAT score after 21 JAN '08?

And Is GMAT ID ( acc to MBA.COM) and GMAT Registration Number acc. to you the same.?

Pls reply at the earliest as a day missed , would make my chances to get into your prestigious institute much more difficult.

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for the June Intake of GMBA in IT. I was wondering if any folks have an idea as to what kind of profiles are offered in IT upon graduation from SP Jain. Though the salary is mentioned on the site the profiles offered are missing altogether.

1. yes we need your online ref no of your application to SPJIMR
2. The work ex should be counted upto the date of application and NOT 31st March 08

I applied online to SPJIMR, Mumbai and received a reference no. through e-mail. Are they asking for the same?

2. Total number of years of experience

The last date of submission is 31st March. So till what point of time, we should count our total work experience.This is a doubt because there is a column asking for months also.
