Yes the queries are being looked into regualrly if you can pls check the dates of the queries and the reply dates.
If you post a query on a weekend it would naturally take a little longer as everybody needs a break and takes off on weekends
And FYI your query has been answered

Hi,
The waitlist is reviewed from time to time as and when need be by the Admissions COmmitee and students who are found suitable are shortlisted.
However there is no fixed time frame as to when this happens so i cannot commit to any exact date or time limit but I guess the maximum would be until the close of our admissions - which is not very far in any case

Hi Rutty ,
Many Thanks for the efforts that u have been putting in to answer our queries !
I have got an offer for Jan 2008 and i do understand that Nov. 2 is the last date for submitting the initial non-refundable fees. But could you please let me know as to by when
we need to send across the filled in word doc and excel sheet that was sent to us with the admission offer email, and also could these documents be sent separately by post or do we need to submit these while submitting the DD. Regards, Coolest
I'd rather fail while trying to succeed than succeed in failing by not trying ! Moi Blog | | | | | | | |

Hi Rutty,
Thanks a lot.
Just had another query related to my B.E. I have seen a lot of people frm certain universities with 85 90% which is common out there. Just wanted to know if the panel
actually looks at the university frm where you are applying for considering the individual case. As Mumbai university has a bad track record am wondering if that is actually looked upon or not. Quote:

So that would not be a constraint.
2) Your 59% may pose a bit of problem but again like I have always said - the Admissions COmmitee looks at the profile as a whole
3) If you do not make it for the Jan 08 intake you can surely reapply forthe June 08 intake and it would not hamper your chances for the june )8 intake in any way

hi rutty, i would like to know my chances of getting shortlisted/selected for the gmba program.my details are-
-xth-72%
-inter-75.2%
-engg-60%
-GMAT-650
-work ex-will be 1 year by nov 2007
my problem is that my acads are really bad .
i joined engg in 2000 and am supposed to complete in 2004 april but i had lot of backlogs and finally completed in nov 2006.so,u can see that my acads are horrible.
do u think i hold a chance for the june-2008 intake?
will me taking GMAT again and getting 700+ help my chances considering my bad acads?
i will take GMAT again only if i feel that getting 700+ might help
or do u think i can apply with my current 650 score.
thank u | | | | | | | |

Hi Rutty
My application no. is IB-17127
I received an e-mail from you on the 22nd where i was offered SMM whereas I opted for IB.
I replied back asking for the basis it was decided? Didn't get any reply till now even after making calls to the bombay office.
In the meantime, I did analysis on my part regarding SMM and again sent a mail confirming my interest in SMM and requested for the offer letter.
I have been calling bombay office everyday and being informed that you are out of station and no reply would be sent before Monday.
I am really shocked to see the handling of matter by the bombay office and the accountability of your colleagues. Since i cannot resign from my organization until i receive the offer letter, i am bound to lose big money because of this delay.
Kindly update me on this. Cheers,
Sameer, SMM

Hi Rutty,
Please help me out.
the initial amount $2500 ; the demand draft has to be of a nationalized bank or even the one done from a private bank would do.
Thanks,
Anupam. | | | | | | | |

| Querries for Hr course starting in Singapore -
24-10-2007, 10:58 AM
Hi Ruty,
I am from IT backgroind and am interested in pursuing Hr for career growth. Would like to appear for your exam in June, but have queries in my head which confuse me, since this is the first time SP jain is starting HR.
1. SP jain is not known for HR, and it does not have any brand or legacy in HR unlike some other fields like Marketing and operations etc. how do you intend to promote your students to the industry then?
2. Like always, placement is each and every students's concern and esp so after paying 14 lakhs, what kind of salary figures can be expected for HR in that case, ( i have already visisted you website and seen the avg figures for other streams), but HR guys are not paid that high initially. and me being from a different background, what figure do i expect?
Please provide figures.
3. What kind of firms can be expected for HR, can i expect consultants like HAYS, MERCER, E & Y to come, or that is a long call? Besides, will there be SAP LABS, IBM expected since these have ERP modules for HR guys as well?
4. How many guys will be inducted in the HR batch?
5. What is the scope for Hr in Dubai? From whatever little i know, Dubai has more of finance and to some extent marketing oppurtunities, but is unknown for HR, infact HR in INDIA is a far better than in Dubai, do the student expect that placement will be in INDIA?
Will there be any oppurtunity in US/Europe, where HR's role is more prominent?
6. Is there any scholarship on offer?
and finally where does the Global HR degree fir in the international arena?
Hope you understand the concerns, and revert back with all the info, since it makes sense the student knows all the details before taking such a big decision.
Please reply.
Thanks
