Hi,
I think you are confused - students have to mandatorily study 6 months in Dubai and 6 months in Singapore - the programme structure is such - where your start first depnds on the specialisation opted for - Finance and IT start at Dubai and Marketing, GLM and HRM start at Singapore.
There is not difference in both the schools at both the locations in the sense that they are the same entity.
I hope this is clear now.

i applied onlin abt 2 weeks back ...but i got no confirmation email ..i check my reg no it is there now wat is the nxt course of action...and wat abt the recos i dont get it cause onlin i wasnt asked any??

Just to let you know that the GLM specialisation started only in June 06 and the PMM one in dec 06. just like you there were many studnets who were apprehensive about starting these new spez. But today they have all done phenomenally well and the placement figures are there for all to see.
3) yes, Dr. Aneeta Madhok is our core team member and also the Dean for the Centre for HRM, Singapore

Thanks for lot of input... i would like to know certain details about the PMM as i have applied for that and my interview got over on 14th.. pls lemme know a better picture of the placements for PMM like lowest,mean and highest sal... companies coming.. and more over is it possible to get placed in software industry??

Appreciate the efforts taken by you and SP to address queries faced by prospective students.
Going through the many blogs, I have a query on your blog as below.
A brief about me:-
GMAT - 700
TOEFL - 287 (CAT)
10 - 70%
12 - 55%
Acaeds - BA (Eco) - pass class (1996)
MBA Marketing - 2nd class (199
10 years work ex. in a petrochemical giant. now at a middle management level. Exposure to product management, supply chain, business analysis etc.
Looking at a lateral placement as well as international experience.
Will my low acads rule me out from admission.

Well on aubmission of your application you should get an email givng you an application no and the link to the reco formats.
if this has not happened in all probability your applicatin hasnt been submitted.
pls go back to the link " click to apply online" and login with your user name and password.
pls check if you are still able to edit your form or it is now in read-only format.
If you are still able to make changes and edit your appln this means that your form hasnt been submitted.
in that case pls remove all commas,apostrophes and quotes from the application and then try and submit.
if it still doesnt get submitted pls email our technical dept : helpdesk@spjain.org

Hi,
I'm sorry you will have to wait a while for the PMM placement stats as the spez started only in Dec 06 so the placements are yet to happen.
Once we have all the facts and figures relating to placements we will be updating our website with the same.

AS you may have read in all my previous posts - the Admissions Commitee looks at the profile of every candidate as a whole.
Yes your academics do not meet our requirements but your GMAT score and ample work ex would certainly be looked at.
While I cannot comment on your chances I would suggest that it would be worth your while to go ahead and send in your application

Hi Rutty,

I attended the Evaluation Rounds on Oct. 13 at S P Jain.

On the website it's mentioned that the applications are accepted, scrutinized and given an offer on rolling basis(First come first serve basis)

Is it that my application will be further compared with the people who attended on Oct. 14 or will be it done on rolling i.e. individual basis and given to me if I really deserve it???

This is a new course

Please tell something abt the job prospects and return on investment. I hope you can understand us as this is a new course and you need to help us please.

I want to get admission in HR as I have a strong interest in it.
