Hi Rutty,

Thanks a ton for your prompt response. With that now, I shall have to bug you with a few more questions:

- Can I submit the application now with a consideration for the June intake as I am not interested in the January one?
- What are the kind of financial aids/scholarships that are provided? What are the criteria for the same?
- What percentage of placements are back in India? How tough/easy is it to come back to India to work, post MBA?

I have applied for IT Management and already scheduled for the upcoming evaluation round.

I wanted to know the intake(The no. of students) for the Class of IT Management.

Hi Rutty,
I would firstly like to appreciate your active participation in this forum and thank you for helping us out by answering to our queries so promptly.

I have been called for an evaluation process on 13th of Oct. for IB profile ,I have a couple of questions regarding the same :-

1) How is Selection process able to evaluate as there would be many other dates for evaluation and I have also heard from you regarding a re-test !!!
2) My slot is from 2:00 pm so will I be taking the evaluation process with only IB profile students or it will be a mixed bag ??
3) Are the number of rounds of evaluation decided or it may change on that day as per the need
4) As I suppose that for this session this is the first round of evaluation ,will the rounds be elimination rounds or it would be a cumulative process ??

I would be glad to hear from you regarding the same !! Looking for a quick response .

Hey Rutty,
I submitted my application on Sunday. The web site says evaluation period is 30 days. However, several people on this thread seem to have received evaluation calls within days. Is it possible to be considered fof the 13th oct evaluations if iv submitted applications on the 7th oct? Asking this because I need to have my documents and all in place..thanks a lot..appreciate it

Hi,
No, you will have to apply only when we start accepting applications for the June 08 intake

scholarships are proivided on a selective basis on merit. Generally the scholarships commitee takes a decision internally after reviewing all applicants. Criteria usually are outstanding academics, work ex, acheivements. We also provide assistance with loans the details of which could be found on our website under the FAQ's section under "visas & Loans" q. no 3

There is no fixed no per specialiastion.
the total intake would be aorund 180-200+ students across all streams

Hi,
I dont udnerstand some of your queries - what is the connection between one more SPJAT and more evlauation rounds got to do with the slection pricess?
Admissions are ona rolling basis and we naturally look at applications as and when they are received and since we accpet applications over aperiod of nearly 4-5 months we obviously cannot have just one ruond of evlautions.
FYI this is the 2nd round - we already had one round on 1/2 sept as you must have already read on this thread.
your slot would have studnets from all streams and not just IB
The no of rounds is fixed and the process is a continuous one.

Hi,
Well 30 days is the maximum time - sometimes when studnets apply close to the evaluation dates if they are shortlisted we call them for the same as our admissions are on a rolling basis.
I doubt if there are still chances of your being called for the 13/14 as the slots might already be full

i have appeared for spjet and got 65 percentile so will i get call from the institute for gmba january'2008 intake

The cut off for our test is 75%ile......we look at the overall profile of the student...i cannot comment on your chances of getting shortlisted as that is a decision of the Admissions Commitee
