Hi Shibu,

Congrats for the call!! The size of the GD batch is somwhere around 9-10 while we had personal interviews and not group interviews!!!

Regarding the questions of essay as well as GD topics, I'll suggest you to go thru the posts after 1st & 2nd sept....You'll find the experiences of all the people out there....

Hi Rutty,

I have applied for the GMBA course - January intake.
Application ID- 17554- IT

I have a work experience of 2 yrs 11 months in I.T. and a good academic record (distinction through out)
My profile matches all the other criteria for the GMBA course except for the Aptitude test marks.I have scored only 50.47 percentile in the SP Jain aptitude test conducted on 30-sep. Also I have not attempted any Competitive exams like CAT/XAT/GMAT.

It would be really helpful if you could please let me know if i have any chance of getting a call for the evaluation rounds.

There is a specified format...which you can download once you have submitted your form. You dont need to get it on any letter head or something like that.....

Yes the recos have to be in sepcific format given to you but they have to be on plain paper and not on the company/school/college letter head

Hi,
The decision to shortlist you or not lies with the Admissions Commitee and they would look at your profile as a whole.
Incase you still remain waitlisted you may retake the test when we have it again (pls check our website in the coming week) to improve on your score

- Do you have a June/July intake for the GMBA program?
- Is the deadline of Nov 15th, applicable only for those interested in the January intake, or for everyone in general
- Is there a separate deadline date for the June/July admissions. If yes, please do let me know of the same.
- Also, I would like to start my course in Dubai and finish it off in Singapore. Do I have a choice in this regard?

HI there,

Another query thats been bothering me is that on factors is it decided that a particular applicant goes to Singapore and another goes to Dubai.

And is there some kind of a comparision between the 2 b schools in terms of level of teaching, course, curriculum, faculty and placements.

Kindly throw some light on this.

I am having my eval on 14th of Oct for IB.
I am a bit confused what kind of questions to expect in the PI. I have no relevant experince in the Finance domain. Can anybody share some thoughts on what kind of questions can I expect and is anyone there with an IT background who made it through to the first round of evals to any finance specilization.

Hi Ajay,

1. Yes there is a june Intake of this GMBA Program.
2. Deadline of 15th Nov is only for the Jan intake.
3. There is a separate deadline for the June intake..It would be posted on the website...
4. The choice of start in terms of location is not in our hands...The SPJ has designed it in such a way that, Finance & It starts in Dubai and ends in Singapore while its the vise versa for Marketing, Logistics & HR.
