No, as your XAT percentile is 92.3 you need not take the aptitude test.
All rounds carry equal weightage.

Hi,
I will answer your queries in the manner asked:
1. We close for admissions on 30th of April 2007. Depends when in April you are taking the gmat

2. I am also appearing for the Sp Jain Aptitude test this sunday. In case of my GMAT score should be better, when should i indicate you regarding the same?
3. According to your site, we have no ways of updating or modifying an already submitted application form. In that case how do we go about informing you our suitable aptitude test scores?
Do clarify the above.

We need to look at your application and then decide whtehr you need to tkae the test or not as you are missing the cut by a nvery narrow margin.
if you wish to improve on the score you may take the test.

Hi Rutty, Thank you for the immediate reply. Unfortunately I have booked my dates for the GMAT on the 15th of April. I can send in my score that day itself through mail. But the official score card as you know would take time. Will that be fine or should i look into having my test scores earlier ? ? Regards, Senthil | | | | | | | |

Hi Rutty,
I have one small query. I am an IT professional with an experience of around 3+ years. I did appear for XAT last year with 95% but unfortunately my english percentile is quite less i.e around 50%.
Could you please let me know incase sectional percentiles hold true for selection or over all percentile matters and also do I need to reappear for SP Jain aptitude test.
Regards,

Yes your score by 15th April is ok but you would be reqd to send us the official score as soon as your receive the same. but pls note we will not assess your application until we receive your score which means not until the 15th of April, which would be quite late into the admission process.

It takes about 30-45 days from the date of application for you to hear from us. i suggest you apply a little later as the last date for applications is 30th April 2007.

Hello,
If you read my replies on this thread carefully, you will see that i have clearly mentioned that we do not look at section wise percentiles, we only look at the overall percentile. SO your XAT percentile is alright. You need not appear for the aptitude test.
thank you Quote:
