u can apply for admission now itself.
n one more thng wt is min CAT score for eligibility....is it 75 or 85....
n the test score will def. affect the application...rt...
i have some more queries
1) wht is Pattern of Aptitude test and is it of the same level as CAT
2) Also plz coment how genuine the Stats regarding placements (given on website) are?
ur application wont be considered until u have a valid score.

Hi,
One of the recos should be Academic and 1 Professional. So you can get 1 from your Engg prof.
We have our own particular format in whcih we want you to submit the recos.
Once u apply online you will receive the format. In any case you can always email gmba@spjain.org for the same.
thanks

Well as far as recos are concerned i ve go to know a couple of confusing views so if u can clear those it wud be highly appreciated.
1. There are two recos that are required. Do both of them have to be from my managers or i can have 1 from my manager & 1 from prof at engineering collage.
2. If the recos are submitted on a seperate sheet is there a format which i must stick to or it will be genral reco format. what i heard was 'Format will be provided by the liasion office, i just need to Contact them On phone n they will guide me regarding the same'
Hi Sameer,
Yes your IT experience would be considered during placements.
Well we do have JP Morgan Chase and KPMG which are in the same league as these names and we do hope to keep adding more in the future. In terms of Global recognition we are very well established in the Middle Eastern and ASian regions and we have had some of our students placed in other coutnries like USA ,UK etc
Hope I have sorted your queries.
Thanks

I have applied to SPJ's IB program because of my interest in Finance, and have the following doubts:
1. Will my IT experience be considered during placements? What are the chances of that happening?
2. I was surprized not to find the IB bigshots in the list of companies visiting for placements. I am referring to Goldman Sachs, Merril Lynch, UBS, Lehman Brothers etc.
I am not worried about the quality of the program offered, but concerned about its global acceptance. Kindly comment.

The evaluation process will consist of essay, case study, gd and PI.
While majority of our students do have work ex , we will also consider freshers who are outstanding. Being a fresher will not hamper your evaluation process as long as you meet the criteria the Admissions Commitee is looking for.
thanks and all the best for your evaluation and apt

Is there anything in particular that I should be prepared for. I dont have any work experience so will that hamper the evaluation process and also will the evaluation process consist of essay, gd & pi only or will there be anythin else too?

Hi,
We normally look at GMAT scores of about 650+. If you wish to improve upon your GMAT score you may take our aptitude test
AS for your chances, that is a decision of the Admissions Commitee and I cannot comment on the same.
thanks
