Dear Vikashkedia,
The reason for wait list could be that you don t meet any one of the criteria s , I wont be able to comment on your chances as this is the decision of the admissions committee.
Admissions are on a rolling basis and students can be put on to the Evaluation stage as and when the need be by the admissions committee. This does not have any set time frame and you will need to wait patiently.

I have already applied for Dec. Intake and is being shown on Waiting List.
Please let me know where i am falling short and what are the alternatives to overcome it.
Thank You

Dear Rutty,
Thnx for the information regarding aptitude test. Can u tell me what percentage of students without work experience would be taken by SP jain because i have just completed my graduation in Hotel Management and have work exp. which is negligible i.e. 6 months of full time experience and 1 yr of part time (which is not considered, as mentioned in the form) and that too not in the hospitality sector. I'm working in my own consultancy firm with my father, my graduation and work exp. are not related in any way. So, it seems that there is no scope of my getting through the admisssion procedure and i'm trying for Sp Jain only. Can u guide me if there is any way which can really help me. My gmat date is in october.
Thanx
sid

Hey rutty,
thanks for clearing my previous doubt...
Now since my application no has been received, they have sent me one email regarding the reference forms, and have mentioned that i have to send them within 10 days of the generation of the applciation no., failing of which will consider my form as incomplete..
Now, what do i have to do. Do i need my referees to complete the form in prescribed time and give them to me and the same i can send to the spjain india liasion office...
I heard from seniors that previously, the reference letters were asked for only during the time of evaluation.
Waiting for ur reply rutty..
thanks in advance..... | | | | | | | |

Dear Sid85,
One of the eligibility criteria is that you need to have work experience but we do take in a small percentage of freshers and they would need to have outstanding academics.
I wont be able to comment on your chances as this is the decision of the admissions committee.

Dear Mitulmehta,
With regards to reference forms , you will need to get that filled by the referees and sent to the India liaison office address.
The same needs to reach us 15-20 days after you have completed the applications procedure. As of this intake we would need the reference form send to us before a candidate would attend the Evaluation process.
Thanks. Quote:

@ Rutty,
I have a work ex of 2.4 years in automotive industry and working with the best known auto giant world over. I have applied for the IB specialization.
The doubt which i am facing is that, is my experience considered valid for a specialization like that of IB.
I have already applied, but according to ur past experience, can u throw some light that whether spjcm do entertain profiles of people like me in specializations like Investment Banking....?
thanks | | | | | | | |

Hi,
I saw the avg salaries being offered to the students in Dubai and Singapore. And the figures look good. But are the students in both Singapore and Dubai being offered same kind of packages or is there some difference between the packages offered?
And the other question is whether students are being placed in India with those packages?
Those packages even though impressive from the Indian Standards are not the best figures when compared with the Dubai and Singapore standard of living.
Thanks and Regards,
