The decision whether you should go in for IT or RM is up to you.

Dear Sdinesh,
The 5 digit number along with IT is your application number. There is a link on the website home page under the announcements where you can click to view your online status. The same announcement section will have a link for you to register for the test.

Hi
Iam Sajith Kurup, currently working in a company called Symphony Services in Bangalore. i earn 5 lakhs per annum right now and i was planning to do an MBA from S P Jain Dubai. I have 19 months of experience as of today. I have a few questions for which i needed answers so that i can make a decision. My questions are as follows:
1) What kind of salary can i expect after completing the course, in India and abroad as i am earning 5 Lakhs now.
2) A lot of blogs and ex S P Jain Dubai students say that the course is not worth 15 Lakhs whats your take on it.
3) What will be the Living expense in Dubai and Singapore on a monthly basis in Indian Rupees.
4) How good a course is this for freshers and what kind of salaries can they expect.
I have huge respect for S P Jain and want to join this one year course as it suits my reqirements perfectly, but reading a lot of blogs and talking to some ex students have put me in doubt so please clear all my questions so that i am in a better frame of mind to make my decision.
Thanks & Regards
Sajith

Hi,
Thanks for rolling this thread.
I had given CAT in 2005 Nov (86%). Can i use it for Jun-07 intake? Other credentials[5yrs IT exp, 76% for Eng,83% for XII,73% for X]. Or do you think i may stand a better chance if i take CAT 2007 and arrive at the same percentile?
Best Regards!

Dear Sajith,
With regards to your queries about placements pls follow these links, S.P.Jain Center of Management - Dubai . Singapore S.P.Jain Center of Management - Dubai . Singapore
Considering its a one year program conducted in 2 cities would give more exposure to the candidates as well as enable them to finish the course in a year and get back to work. This is a great advantage as compared to other MBA programs.I would suggest you go through the course curriculum and placements information and take a call on whether it is worth doing a course from S P Jain Dubai/Singapore.
It is normal to spend AED 600 in Dubai (Approx.7500 INR) /SGD 450 in Singapore (Approx.13500 INR) towards food and other expenses on a monthly basis.
Thanks. Quote:

Dear Anoop,
We would accept CAT,GMAT,XAT scores valid up to three years.
As long as you meet the cut off requirement you don't need to take the test.

Dear Gaba,
The reason why you are wait listed could be because that you are falling short on anyone of the criteria. The wait list is screened from time to time as and when the need be by the admissions committee and students are put through to the evaluation stage. There is no fixed time frame for this.
Interactive session do not have any relevance to the admissions procedure. These sessions are normally conducted so that you can get more information about the course and also clear all the queries you would have.

Also i have recieved a mail inviting me to the sp jain interactive sessions to be held. Do these interactive sessions have any relevence to the admission procedure ? | | | | | | | | |

Hi Rutty
Thanks for the clarification, have few more questions:
1) How many students are you taking for the Dec 2007 batch. Is it still 50 per specialization.
2) You have doubled the students intake, would that affect the placements as you now have double the number of students to place. Actually this concern was raised by one of the ex- S P Jain Student whom i talked to, he also told me that the min salary in his batch was 8 Lakh INR? Is this really true.
Thanks & Regards
