Respected mam,
i was quite apprehensive while i was contemplating over my work-ex criteria .Till date i have just 1 year and 1 month around experience but by the time i will join if i get selected i would have completed 1.5 years of experience. Almost all people who are applying have work ex of around 3 years . Will the very same fact will get me scored less during evaluation . Do the chances of getting selected become more and more obscure with less number of experience.
Thanks
Regards
Storm07

Hi Rutty,
I have applied for Jan 2008 GMBA. I was reading trough the qoutes. Is it neccessary to send the Reco letters even before I give the aptitude test? I was assuming that the letters have to be sent once the evaluation process begins for the applicant.
Currently my status is in Waitlist and the reason for which i am assuming is that i do not have any scores to show.
Kindly enlighten me with your views on this issue I have.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Storm07,
One of our eligibility criteria is that you need to have relevant work experience in whatever specialization you are applying for. However this not our only criteria in short listing a candidate for the Evaluation stage.
Once you are in the Evaluation stage what matters the most is how well you fare in the GD/PI,Essays and case studies. At the end of it all its how well you do in these rounds that decides on whether you get through or not.
Thanks

Dear Sameer,
Your profile looks ok.You can surely apply and if the admissions committee feels that you meet all our criteria they would shortlist you based on your entire profile.

Hi Ruty,
i have a small doubt.
my application status shows it as - Evaluation Stage. Does that mean i am selected for the GD/PI round, or do i need to wait for my status to change to - Shortlisted?
Also, is it ok if my recos reach you in a few more days? I have not been in town so have been unable to send them across

Dear Abhishek,
You would need to send in the reference forms to us 15-20 days after you have put in your application in order to complete the application process so please make sure that letters are send to us at the earliest.
The reason that you are in wait list at the moment might be that you don't have a score,as students are not short listed for the Evaluation stage unless the scores are updated.
Thanks
