hello mam..
I have been Waitlisted for the evaluation stage.
I am unable to understand this since for all the paramenters :I have some decent records:acads(more than 80% thruout),test score(above 90percentile in both CAT and XAT) and extracurricular(above average ),work-ex( more than 1 year).
Kindly throw some light on this...is there something else also which was required?
and how much chance is there of getting a call for GD and Interview after getting waitlisted.
Thanks a lot! | | | | | | | |

thanks | Dear Rutty,
Thank you for your reply & your immediate action.
Currently the my application is in the process of evaluation stage. Can you please let me know as when would the list of shortlisted candidates for GDPI be announced.
Secondly since I have applied through online, I did not come across any section in the application form which stated the requirement for a Recommendation Letter. Can you please clarify this point also.
Thanking you in advance
Best regards,

Hi rutty… I have applied for the gmba dec 07 intake and my application status says waitlisted …is this because I don’t have an aptitude score… If yes how does it work from here on…will I be evaluated once I have scores from the sp jain aptitude test…n when will be the apti test?…as the admissions are on rolling basis do my changes get low… Once the apti test is over will my application be screened again with a score…can u please throw some light on the whole process… I am really confused… Thanks Quote:

Hi Rutty,
I have read the details of the GMBA program and it looks quite interesting to me. I am planning to apply for the Dec07 batch(IT). I have a query. While going through the profile of current students specialising in IT, I realise that the majority of the Class has a work ex of 2-4 years. I did not find any applicant with higher work ex. I have work ex of over 8 years and was wondering as to whether you have any policies around # of years of work experience. My Profile:
IT Professional with over 8 years experience working with Global Clients. Excellent Acads throughout. Will be taking GMAT in next 2-3 weeks.
A response to my query is highly appreciated.
Regards

The entire evaluation process would normally take 6-7 hrs. The S P Jain test is usually conducted on a separate day.We would update in advance on the website regarding the test so that you can schedule your holidays accordingly. | | | | | | | |

Anil Singh | Dear Anil,
There is no minimum or maximum amount of work experience required. We evaluate a candidate on several criteria. However, most of our students have above 2 years of work experience as you have rightly stated.Since you have relevant work experience in the field that you would like to specialize in, it would be an added advantage in all terms. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
