Hello Rutty,
Thanks for your prompt replies. Well I have two more queries. As I have mentioned in my earlier conversations I am out of India at present and I had asked my refrees to mail and post the reference forms as suggested by you. Is there any way to check whether you have received them or not?
And secondly when are you declaring the date for aptitudde test? I want to be sure that I reach India well before the same.

My Online status shows in Evaluation process..i have applied online in the 3rd week of june and have send the reccos last week only.. when can i get a confirmation about this.

Dear Deepak,
The reason for your being waitlisted could be your academics - we ideally expect students to have atleast a first class all through out their academics incl all years of graduation- or your work work ex or any other factor.
As i have mentioned before, the waitlist would get reviewed as and when need be by the admissions Committee and if they find you suitable you could get shortlisted.
The ref forms are mandatory for all students.

Xth :- 82%
XIIth :- 74%
B.E :- 63 % ( where i was constantly among the top 5 in my branch(I.T) in Pune unversity)
XAT '07 :- 91.72 %ile

I have decent Extra curriculars related to Sports, Music etc. Now, i have been waitlisted again this time with the above profile (with the change of increase in Experience , of course). I had applied for I.T. Management this time while for the June intake i had applied for Investment banking.
I would really appreciate if you could have a look at the above details and let me know if u can make out some area where i am lacking for atleast getting an interview call. If u find that some part is not upto the required level, i will atleast have an idea of the reason for waitlist.

Also, I have still not sent the Reco letters and was about to do the same but the status got updated on the site with the Waitlist. Please suggest.

The date for the aptitude test should be put up on our website in the next 10-12 days

Thanks Mam for the query. I am a person of operations and want to pursue masters in operations only. As you have not mentioned in the replies the manufacturing or operations , plz tell me , if the SP jain also offers specialisations in these streams?
what are the carrer options available after masters from SP jain?
