I had used the same username as last time for applying again..

Me 2 in the same boat, lets see what happens. Hope everyone gets through finally.
Can somebody comment on chances of selection on getting waitlisted.
As they have mentioned that we are falling short of some of their requiremnts and I am pretty sure that those are my acads, and I cant work on them or improve them now.
Still keeping my fingers crossed

How to check status of my application as i applied through hard copy and sent the recos along with the application around 2 week of june.
My application no. is IB 3051.

Dear Deepak,
thank you for informing us about this oversight. We have intimated our technical dept regarding this and it will surely be rectified asap.
However this is indeed the status for the Dec 07 intake , its just that due to an oversight it mentions "June 07 intake" instead of Dec 07 intake.
I have double checked and your status for the Dec 07 intake is "waitlist"

Dear Amit,
pls do not get disheartened, this waitlist is reviewed from time to time as and when need be by the Admissions Committee and students who are found suitable are shortlisted for the evlauations.
However there is no fixed time frame as to when this list gets reviewed.
If its your acads that you think you are falling short on, then yes there is nothing you could do to improve them but we do look at your entire profile as a whole and if the admissions Committee feels that you have some other outstanding factors to make up for the lack of academics then there are chances that you could get shortlisted.

Hi Rutty,

I am a prospective candidate for Dec 07 GMBA program. Even my application status shows as "June 07 intake". Hence can you please confirm whether this is one of the case like the one mentioned above or in general a mistake of oversight for all the application. My application No is 16276- IT.

Thank you for replying to my query and checking my status......

However, i had one more doubt. I am working in a MNC for the past 1 year as a Software developer. I hold a couple of professional certifications apart from some good projects during my tenure. My acads are:-

Xth :- 82%
XIIth :- 74%
B.E :- 63 % ( where i was constantly among the top 5 in my branch(I.T) in Pune unversity)
XAT '07 :- 91.72 %ile

I have decent Extra curriculars related to Sports, Music etc. Now, i have been waitlisted again this time with the above profile (with the change of increase in Experience , of course). I had applied for I.T. Management this time while for the June intake i had applied for Investment banking.
I would really appreciate if you could have a look at the above details and let me know if u can make out some area where i am lacking for atleast getting an interview call. If u find that some part is not upto the required level, i will atleast have an idea of the reason for waitlist.

Also, I have still not sent the Reco letters and was about to do the same but the status got updated on the site with the Waitlist. Please suggest.

Buddy, Even me facing the same issue I had scored 70.09% on my final year but my first year score is below 60% thanks to Mumbai University but i was in the top notch in my class even then. The problem here is that other universites the Percentage brackets are higher.
