After 7 years work exp. do the engg. marks even matter. ?
I too have a engg. cgpa similar to your's, 18 months work-ex, been through 2 PI this season (both fairly good institutes). I wasn't asked in either of the interviews about the low marks .......1 had a situational interview (situations, and how I'd react to them), the other was on my work-ex.
Would definitely like to hear from you on this.

I am also interested in 1 yr program. But application form is not yet available online. I even wrote to admission comm, but received no response.
Wish to put one more question - currently I am staying in USA. Does SPJIMR conduct telephonic interviews for aspirants who are staying abroad ?
This thread doesnot seem to be active ... is it that not many PGiets are interested in PGDM from SPJ?

Hi to Pakya and other members ,
I have just seen in SPJMIR's website - that for 1 yr course in mumbai starting in jan-09 their deadlines for application is 31-03-08 and not november like they did for last years batch.
If this is true then we have a good chance for applying to 09 batch as I am giving my gmat in march only.
Pakya, I too stay in UK and am interested to know if they conduct telephonic interviews. They are boasting that their batch has guys with international experience. That means it might add some weightage. But no news if we can give telephonic or not?
any views guys.
cheers,
ranjit

Thanks Ranjit.
Yes, the last date this time is March 31, 2008. And I also logged in to have a look at the form. It lists only four preferred interview locations - Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Delhi. So I have a strong feeling, they may not go for telephonic interviews. Anyways, will drop an email and let you know if I get a response.
I think you can apply for admission even b4 appearing for GMAT. As for me, I already appeared in March 07. Already got reject from IIM-A. Now desperate to get into other Indian B-schools.

Hi Pakya,
Thanks for ur email and pls let me know if u get any reply on the email. I tried calling them up when I was in India, but the number was not working.
IIMA__ ka reject--- Pakya with all due respect, Kya samajh ke apply kiya thaa IIMA mein ? They require 9 to 10 yrs exp minimum and ur age is 26. Have a look at IIMA ka thread and u will be horrified to see the experinces of people applying. I am not even thinking of applying to IIMA.
Which other colleges are u thinking of? Send me a private message as this question is out of topic for this thread.
cheers,
ranjit

Ya site mentions last date as 31st march'08.
But few days back I saw the add. in Hindu for the same one year course im Mumbai, which mentions the last date as 11th November.
Even If I try to access the "Apply link'" for this course , its taking me to the page from where we need to apply for regular 2 year MBA (thorugh CAT and XAT)
Its bit confusing
Any more details frm ne one else
