Hi,

I would like to know how good is goizueta for students planning a career switch to strategic/financial consulting?
Which are the major MC firms recruiting at goizueta? (From the link on the website i can see that McK doesnt recruit on campus)
What percentage of class goes in MC? Also is it possible to get the number of students hired by some MC firms (like Bain/BCG/BAH/ATK/acceture etc...)

Emory University : 1st year students taking over the responsibility! - 13-10-2007, 09:47 AM

Hello Junta,

It was exactly before a year that I was visiting this forum nearly everyday to check if Akshat, Arvind, Vijay and other folks had something more to write about their experiences at this wonderful school...

And today, after being a part of the MBA class of 2009, I really feel excited to restart this thread for the 2008 applicants, ie the Class of 2010!

My fellow class mates will soon join me to answer all your queries... I am confident that we all will be able to answer your queries with highest level of satisfaction, just like the way our seniors answered ours...

Here are the application deadlines for easy reference:

Application Received By: Decision No Later Than:
November 1, 2007 January 1, 2008
December 15, 2007 March 1, 2008
February 1, 2008 April 1, 2008
March 1, 2008 May 1, 2008

Goizueta Business School - MBA

Any questions, just shoot!

Hi Righty,

Thanks for the initiative man.

I've got the usual Qs regarding Loan and Financial Aid. What's the scene?

Hi Righty,

Thanks for taking time out to help future applicants. My questions - How do you find the calibre of students there? How good are the professors?
And what about career opportunities? How many companies recruit on campus?

coolr

The Fin Aid scene is indeed great at Emory... I cannot quote the total figure in $, but approximately a huge percentage of the Indian junta has some or the other form of scholarship....

And loans... well... every top 20-25 school has the non-cosigner option... Its the same option you get here as well...
