Hi
I have taken Gmat twice and my scores were as under:
27/06/06 - 540 Verbal -25 Quant - 39 , AWA - 4.5
02/08/06 - 450 Verbal - 13 Quant -40 AWA - 4.5
I used the following books for my prep :
OG 11 - have almost completed 5 to 6 times, harping more on verbal part
OG Verbal + OG Quant
Kaplan 800 + Kaplan premier
Princeton
Spidey's Notes
My scores in practice tests were as under:
Kaplan Test 1 - 550
kaplan Test 2 - 570
Kaplan Test 1 - 550
Kaplan Test 1 - 620
Gmat Prep I - 630
Gmat Prep II- 650
I had reinstalled Gmat prep CD's atleast 10 times and my score was never below 620 everytime I gave the test.
Given the prepration and my not so bad academic background, I am clueless where did I go wrong. Many A times I have scored 49 in Quant in Prep CD. Clearly, I am weak in verbal. As far as I know my capabilities I can score 700 Plus but may be I am lacking somewhere or there is some trick which I dont know. I am planning to give it a try once again in OCT with all the fresh enthusiam. I have already put in a lot of effort. Got the site's reference from pagalguy.com MBA forum and thought may be you guys can help me out. I will be highly obliged and thanks in advance.
