Hi All,
Smurfit is one of the best business school in Ireland and Europe. College is highly recognised in the UK and Ireland. Companies of the likes of McKinsey, Deloitte, JP Morgan, IBM, Intel, Google are very regular to the campus.....Also, they have exchange tie-up with IIM Bangalore, so ppl looking for exchange can complete a term at IIM Bangalore...
I got the admit from school for Sep 2008. Should you have any queries, I will be more than happy to ans your queries.
Thanks,
MS

Hi Manish79,
Can you please post your profile. Would you know about the Trinity College program in Ireland?
Thanks

Hi Gmat1902,
I am a computer engineer (B E, Computer Sc. & Engg from a decent college in India) with almost seven years of experience in BFSI domain. I have around three
years of Overseas(Europe) work ex along with around four years in India.
Yeah, I am very much aware of the trinity school. Though ranking may depict a different picture about Trinity as compared to Smurfit, but Smurfit is the best b school in Ireland. The reason why i
didn't even apply to Trinity was there weak career service and even the business school with in the trinity premises is not big. I have been to both the schools and infact intially thought of applying to
Trinity. I managed to meet the Trinity MBA programme director as well.
Thanks,
MS

Hi Manish,
I am a Software Engineer, 2005 passout from NIT Silchar, completing 3 years in IBM India in June( in Finance Domain). Am planning to apply for Masters program in Smurfit. Can you give me a picture of the chances of getting through for MBS in Finance, or MSc in Management. Also, it would be really kind of you if you share your knowledge about Dublin City University's BSchool Master programs and their relevant information, like career prospects etc.
Thanks a Lot,
Cheers,
Sujoy

Hi Sujoy,
To be really honest, I have no idea about MBS and MSc Programme. As far as Dublin is concerned, its a nice place. The living expenses would be around 1000 Euros per month. I would suggest that you go
through the programme details before joining it. The Smurfit school is the best b school in Ireland and the job prospects are pretty decent in Ireland.
Thanks,
Manish

Hi Sujoy,
Apologies for late reply.
There are few scholarships but mainly for students with more than 700 score in GMAT.You need to arrange funds of your own because you will not get loans from Irish Banks.
Thanks,
Manish
