Hi Abhinandan,
First of all Really a good theard. For US MBA we all have to remember one thing is admissions are PROFILE based so you have to show them ur propfile is different than other IT ppl applying ,You have to show you are different and if u r really different it can be automatically shown in ur application ,U need not to worry abt in it a lot.As of now, first the most important thing for all of us is good GMAT score.
There are so many ways with which you can make your application the best and the different.

Thanks,
Ajay

I LOVE YOUR SIGNATURE

@talrejaharish - I am not sure about 12+3 factor as to how many universities / programs would accept it, but I am sure there would be many. Just confirm it. If your work ex is good (read 3+ years in your case) + if you can show extra-ordinary extra/co-currics, then I guess it would be fine...

GMAT score would take major if not the (ONLY Major) role...

also, for UK-US comparison's an old thing, you can find threads on PG, as well as some other places using google, I believe unless you a have a specific reason to go to UK, US is the best place to be, coz it has MANY good b-schools, and world's strongest economy 2!

Cheers....
Abhi
