Admitted in NUS Singapore : Queries Welcomed

Hi Sumit,

My two cents regarding your queries :

1) Keep one thing in mind , none of the Indian & Asian Business ( including ISB & IIMs ) fare better than US top 10 B schools ....but of course they are many times costly than NUS /ISB / IIMs.So even for finance , the situation remains pretty much the same .

2) Job Scene - Thing is I am yet to bigin my MBA in Aug so dont have one to one interaction with the Singapore corporate world . Feddback from NUS students and others is that jobs scenario is pretty geat and the Sing economy is said to be booming .

3) dont have much idea . sorry

4) ISB vs NUS comparison depends person to person perception and expectaion from MBA . So evaluate on what you expect post MBA after doing a Fin specialization.

I am also giving Gmat this year and will be applying to ISB, NUS etc. Since u will be joining NUS in August, i would really like be in touch with u....i m really intersted in going to NUS, but want to know more about its placemnets and faculty etc. It will be really helpful if u could post aboout these once u reach there. Also i wanted to know, whether indians r able to find jobs in Singapore once they pass out from NUS

For General questions , u may post a comment at this thread ....

1) Faculty is definetly good ... <-- From the feedback I have received from Students , Web & other resources .

2) Placements are good ... Although International schools dont have the concept of campus placement ... Have talked to students who have been placed in reputed firlms and have a hunch that I would get a good offer myself as well . Would keep u posted with more info once I land in Singapore

3) Indians are able to find jobs ... No issues heard so far of not getting a job bcos of Indian ciitizenship.
