MBA from EASB institute of management, Singapore - 04-05-2006, 08:48 PM

Hello friendzzzzz,

I v just joined the group. I am planning to pursue my MBA
> from Singapore what's your thought.... is it worth pursuing MBA from
> there...?

> I am expecting admission in East Asia School of Business which is also known as EASB institute of Management, Singapore for July'06 intake...

1) Can you pls let me know how well-recognized EASB is? To my understanding the reputation of the institute matters a lot in meeting success with securing a dream-job in a decent organization.

2) Is it possible to get a job in Singapore after completion of course? I am interested to enter in the field of Analyst/investment banking after completion of course.

3) Are u aware of any blog/article where current/past students of EASB discusses their own experiences at university/Singapore? Can you please pass me on the e.mail addresses of other Indian students studying at EASB. So, I can collect some more views of students before enrolling into the program.

> Thank you,

hi PGites , i have collected some info from the current EASB students ,here are follows:- 1.Low budget capital requires for MBA in singapore Average 6 to 8 lakhs for colleges like EASB,PSB,MDIS,SIM,KAPlAN etc etc. lower fees than to Amity ,ICFAI ,jaipuria ,and all bullshit mat colleges. 2.Close proximity to india ,fair is around 15k for a round(both) trip. 3. Option of getting PR or good job prospects in singpore as pro recession in singpore its moving for good demand. 4. Though its not like a crop grown on palm you have to do really well for getting a job ,there are many consultants who would disguise you about the job search duration to 3 months to 1 year but real fact is that u will get approx. 2 months to search a job unless you will be send back to your origin country. 5. Though its tough to find a job in singpore but not impossible a little genuine effort is worth for impressing your interviewer. Though economy is recovering in singpore it is expected hiring for job would be better in 2010 june or july so if a person is passing out in 2011 we can expect a better chances to get a job. 6. A multicultural environment will always help you for getting a good Personal relation of different nationalities & different companies. With all major companies have there head office in singpore you can achieve a good scope of environment for learning and getting sound foundation. 7 the demerits are not allowed for part time and so on ......
