Hello All,
I have received an admit from Thunderbird as well. I am a 23 year old IIM (Indian IT Male) working with Siemens for the past 2+ years. I have studied in the US before for a year and have worked in Germany for a year. I wanted to know how many of the previous people who mentioned who got an admit have taken up to be a T-bird?
Other details:
(+) GMAT: 710
(+) TOEFL: 115
(+) Decent academics (was the Uni rank holder)
Any chances for a scholarship?
*Sorry for the long post*
Has anyone read recently wrt the placements after Thunderbird. There have been incidents and occurrences that people T-birds have some trouble getting placed well. While I am thrilled at the opportunity for an international experience (wrt class), I am cautious about the opportunities after.

Can someone share personal experience/opinions about Thunderbird? Although it's ranked 1 for Global MBA but i hear a lot of criticisms about it. I agree at the end of the day the individual needs to make the decision but it's good to have information b4 making that decision.
It would be great if T-bird alumni or current student can be on this thread to guide.

The job market is tough in the US to begin with, and the fact that you will be seeking sponsorship for employment only adds to that.
I am currently a student and half the students are international, and many of them are from India. I can tell you some companies that recruit here on campus specifically state they do not sponsor and yet do so anyway, so do not be discouraged by that. And some are recruiting specifically for positions in India. Many Indian students that are graduating this summer have jobs already lined up in the states.
Bottom line, if you are good quality candidate with good experience and good "soft skills", companies will want you.
