studying MBA/MS on H4 visa

Hello everyone,

Iam currently staying in California and my visa status is changing to a H4 from a L2 visa. So since i cannot work anymore, Iam thinking of pursuing my MBA/ MS in Human resource management. Iam a B.com graduate and have about 3 years work experience here. Iam planning to take up M.com through Mumbai university for getting the 16 years of education.

So i had a couple of questions ...

1-- Is it better to change the visa from a H4 to a F1 later for a chance for assistanceship or is it better to study on H4 for applying as a resident ?

2-- What are the chances of getting a job/ conversion to H1 visa for a non-IT field like HRM after completion of MBA/MS ?
