I do not know whether I will get a schol or not if admitted. Is there a way out. Someone please advise. Thanks, | You might want to check out the "Visa Experiences" thread where at least a couple of posters provide valuable insight into Visa requirements.
740 is a better than moderate score and if your profile and experience is half-decent, you can aim higher than Purdue & Madison-Wisconsin. A top 7-8 could mean a co-signor free loan. A strong application with well-drafted , succintly articulated why-MBA, why-now & what-career-after-MBA essays could even swing a partial scholarship...

baccardisprite,
Thanks a lot. I will do that but top schools are not for me as my only community work was bounded to taking part in office gossip and writing lyrics and providing rhythm guitar in a now extinct local rock band :P.
Anyway I will search that thread.

Hi!..
I completed my BCom in 2006. My acads are pretty strong as i scored over 75% in FY, SY and 86% in the final year. Also i cleared my CA Final in the first attempt.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether any B schools abroad would accept the 3 years of my CA articleship as relevant work experience since i started it after graduation and we totally work full time.
Almost a year of my articleship is with Deloitte. I dunno if my CA degree is even relevant outside India.
Hope someone can clear my doubts!....

Engineering Management Engineering Management & Entrepreneurship, Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University
and UTS: Undergraduate and postgraduate coursework - International Students
both doesn't mention any work ex requirement in acads... Is this a good option right after btech?? I am not really looking to work as top exec in top comapany after this and wont mind if i get a job with coding
I will enter my final year of btech this time. So was wondering if engineering management will be a good option.
10th - 85%
12th - 70%
Btech - 72%
with loads of inter college competetion certifcates, was organizer in few college functions and i own a few websites and forums which are nicely ranked in googles first page . Thats all for co curricular
