hello everybody,
i require information regarding student loans from US banks.
Which are the banks in US that offer student loans for international students and require a US citizen/permanent resident as a co-signer.
i.e. student loan when school doesnot serve as co-signer.
which US banks should be approached.

also when u r sending financial statements to school for i20, do we need to have loan approved beforehand.

any information regarding this is highly appreciated.

thanks

Is there any good international business school that offers MBA programme which starts around Nov-Feb time frame. I am looking forward to apply for an MBA course now as the regular MBA admissions are over by now I would like to know about any school that offers MBA in the autumn semester.

All,

I am interested in pursuing 1 year MBA course and use this degree as a career enhancer. Can you please let me know some of the good B-Schools (outside India) which excel in General Management (Strategy/Leadership)?

Thanks

Hi,

I got admission in Aston B-school,U.K. in 1 year program.I am not sure about the prospects of the course.I have some general queries?

1.What is the standing of university in Europe?
2.How is the placement scenario?
3.What will be the prospects i will get if i returns to India after 2-3 years.

They actually do not require GMAT score.

I have done B.com from DU and having close to three yeras of experience.

Thanks,
Rajat

@impal

try cornell, oxford, babson, emory (not sure), notre dame. check their website to double check.

@mbajustdoit

citiassist.com has loans for intl students. I think u need your loan processed before you send in your docs for the I 20, if you want the loan to be reflected on your I 20. let me knw if you need more help.

First, please type in English, not in sms syntax. Will help in your GMAT and essays.

What's your goal / objective - career & life? Normally takes 3-4 years to sort that out for yourself. Patiently take the time, achieve in your work, get skills required for whatever career you want, learn foreign languages, then apply to Harvard with some substance. You might pleasantly surprise yourself.

Re: Phoren B-school Assistance Desk - 08-05-2008, 12:26 PM

Guys I need some advice:

I am planning to do an mba abroad. I have a Bsc degree in math and currently working in Qatar. Now since most univs in the US & Canada require a 16 year education for master's degrees, I was wondering what distance learning courses I cud take up to complete this requirement and frm where? Does an MSc degree from ICFAI make me eligible? I've looked on their website (Welcome to the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Tripura) and they say that their univ is recognized by UGC but it doesn't say if it is accredited by AICTE or not.

@jxcess2

I think many US schools now do accept 3 yr Degrees from India. Check a few websites.
