I know, stupid questions but this editing thing is really driving me crazy. Would u guys recommend going for professional essay editing services especially considering the fact that I am not a very good writer?
my suggestion is that you give it to friends who know you well, maybe friends at work or even otherwise. Plus, do give them to one friend who is a stickler for grammar, so that he/her can remove all the grammatical errors!

Help needed - 28-08-2007, 10:17 PM

Hi everybody,
i m a newbee here. First of all i wanna thank every one on this blog for this gr8 work . I am a doctor by profession.gmat score 710,work ex 4yrs with leading hospitals and pharmaceutical compnaies.i am applying in US B schools with health sector management electives like duke ,kellogs and may be harvard /wharton.....i hav good extracurricular activities .I hav few questions. I would highly appreciate any suggestion regarding these.

1 I scored 64% in graduation and highest was 70%. i dont know how to convert it into GPA grading.
2 I heard few top universities have guarenteed loan options for international students with out US co-signer. Is it true that they dont require any collatrals or credit history?
3 I also wanna apply to som universities which r ranked about 20-30, to name a few michigan state , purdue , indiana kelly. Can anyone plz tell me about their placements?
Does it worth to do MBA from uni other than top 15?
4 does it worth to take consultants help for applications specially when i am not a good writer? PLz suggest me some consultants in delhi.

PLEASE EVALUATE MY PROFILE

Thanx in advance

You must not. While applying, you will be required to submit your college transcripts which will be used by the school to take care of the conversion

That's true

To know about placements, visit the college site and check the stats provided there. get in touch with current students to get more accurate information. Try to find out about placements in your desired area of work post MBA.
As for the question whether it is worth it, there is no comparison at all. Top 10-15 schools are a league apart. If you can get into them, nothing like it.

If you think you are not a good writer and don't have friends to help you out with writing, then you might consider taking professional help

Good Luck

just from a diversity perspective, your profile is quite good. no offenses but you will definitely have better chances than typical IT guys who form 90% of the indian applicant pool.

Hi All,

I'm from the most dreaded applicant pool (Indian IT). I took my GMAT and scored a 660 (Q48 V34) . Please let me know if this is enough for the below schools which i intend to apply

NUS Singapore
NTU Singapore
AGSM Australia
MBS Australia

I have heard for Indians the average GMAT scores are atleast a 700. Please let me know if i stand any chance.

Thanks .

Junta ko salaam,
have moved this query to this thread and hope someone is 'jobless' enough to reply, coz i need some pro advice.
My gmat is just 45 days away. I'm a late riser.
my simple question is/are:
1) should i apply NOW or only after geting my gmat scores 45 days hence?
2) What's the usual lead time between requesting and receiving the actual forms?
3) What dya'll vote for? Request for forms now or after G-Day?
PS: Mods, is there a thread that outlines the step-by-step application process?looked for it but didnt find any one specific thread. Cheerio!

you cannot apply without a gmat score. applications have a field where you must provide the score.

hey, just the gmat score is not enough to tell this. must depends on your profile and the essays.
