Related to Visa

Hi Guys,
Not sure if this is the correct forum for Visa related queries, but am in deperate need of help.

I have to take a visa date booking by tomorrow as already its late and line is long.
I am at present working in Chennai and have been doing so for past couple of years.

Can I book an appointment in Mumbai as in Chennai, the next date I am getting is end of July which is too late?

Any suggestions on this would be greatful!

Options for you are -
1) You can book whichever date is available in Chennai and pre-pone the date later
2) Book an emergency date in Chennai 120 days in advance

Hi Guys,

I guess some of you must have got your I-20s.
Now regarding the appointment date, the US consulate releases new slots for interview very frequently. so keep checking the VFS site 3-4 times a day. Keep the info for DS 156, 157 and 158 forms ready. As soon as you see a suitable date, book the date. I booked appointment for Jun 20th. some of my friends got interview slots in May. This was just 10 days back.
