Help Help!!
I paid 3000 deposit to Rotman...
But, now fortunately or may be unfortunately I got into Oxford MBA as well...
Please provide some insight into what would be the better choice....
I got my Canadian citizen recently ..... minimal scholarship from both school....
I don't care working in any part of the world as long as it is a competitive salary...
Thanks.... | | | | | | | |

My 2 cents
Oxford MBA is a 1 yr program while the Rotman MBA is a 2yr program. Are you a career changer (i.e, moving from IT/Science/Arts to Finance)? If that is the case, a 2yr MBA is usually better since the summer between 1st and 2nd yr helps to build your resume, and try out something new and different.
Where do you want to work Post-MBA: Europe or Canada? This should be the deal breaker since regionality of the school plays a big part in networking and securing a job (H/S are exceptions). I can't comment on the job opportunities in the US, but it seems that Rotman graduates able to work get jobs in NY.
Internationally, I think the Oxford MBA will carry more weight, not because of the MBA program, but because of the fact that Oxford is a better brand name in general that U. Toronto. Quote:

You can sit at home and apply, but make sure you check the processing times from where your 'home'/country is..its better to apply from within US or Canada as it takes less than a year to get your PR here. Quote:

RedJazz got that right...also, you have your Canadian citizenship now, so why wouldn't you use it to come to Canada? It will be easier for you to get jobs in US as well. Quote:

I had recently attended the QS World MBA Tour in Mumbai, where Rotman too had visited. Got some useful information from there about Rotman.
Was anybody interviewed by Mr. Rick Powers from Mumbai or any other Location for Rotman for Fall 09? | | | | | | | |

How are the students of Class of 2008 and 2009 doing with their job and internship hunts respectively? I am curious to hear how the job market in canada is doing, especially since the credit crunch is rampaging the US.
Thanks
