I would rate Hult:
Teaching: great
Students: good
Careers service: average
Alumni network: bad
Brand: unknown (but getting better)
Overall good providing you have a strong background before b school. If not look elsewhere.
Let me know if you want to talk.

Gagandeep:
U r wrong. NEASC accredits Harvard, MIT, BU, BC, Babson.... So doesnt mean a bad school at all.

Hi Puys,
I got an offer from Hult for the September 2009 class. They offered me $6,000 scholarship and $14,000 as Erika loan. My profile:
GMAT - 640
Work ex - 4.5 years in shipping industry
However, after talking to couple of alumni I'm skeptical about accepting the offer. Hult is not a good place for career change. With this the placement cell has little to offer. Even the financial aid they offered is insufficient given the total expenses will be no less than $80,000. Mind-changing suggestions are welcome else I'm rejecting the offer.

Re: Hult International business school MA boston student taking questions -

Hi Guys, I just got a call of acceptance from HULT Boston for their MBA fall '09 entry.
A bit about my profile, I am in canada and an entrepreneur having a total of 4 years of experience in different countries. My gmat was very very low 530 but i think my profile was kinda unique one.
Now, What i am getting from HULT is 13k US$ scholarship and 26K US$ loan.
So out of 51k US$ total fee i need to pay 12k$ to complete my MBA plus if you add 800$ every month expenses its coming around 22k$ expense.
I haven't applied to any other school but i am still planning to apply to Mcgill MBA
So can you please guys provide your feedback about HULT , is it really worth doing MBA from there and what kind of prospects / opportunities this MBA can offer, no one has heard about this MBA so should i take the risk ?
How is Mcgill MBA compared to HULT MBA.
I am looking forward to have an International kind of career.
The other option i am thinking is to do some more hardwork on GMAT and prepare myself for Fall 2010 entry into some reputed US schools.
I have now only 5 days to decide. So i will really appreciate your inputs and suggestions.
Thanks

Hi All,
Got an offer from HULT Boston for Sept 2009 intake. I have few days at hand to accept the offer and I need inputs from you guys for the same.
My Background
BBA (finance) , 4 years of experience in Financial research, Executive program in applied finance from IIM Calcutta.
What I found is the school has good faculty but the problem area is placements services. In the current market scenario... its even worse.
Please let me know should I go ahead or not.

mathurkhush/vbtycoon:
very difficult to advise you what to do. you dont say what you want to do after your MBA, so cant say whether Hult will meet your needs. I believe Hult offers a great education, but like any school it isnt for everyone. Your dependence on the placement cell depends on how much of a career change you want to make. but in this environment u r right that all b schools are struggling to place students, particulalry if they are trying to change industry and geography at the same time.
