Hey Sunny,

Specific reason for choosing Hult Dubai. My reasons have both the positive and a negative effect.
1)The thought of the Pilot batch seems exciting as their team would work extra hard to seek placements. But then with the pilot batch comes the uncertainty.
2) 1 year MBA, I liked their modules.
3) Cheaper than most decently ranked US MBA's, including Hult Boston.
4) Dubai is a hub for the service industry and I belong to that industry.
5) I could have taken the SP Jain GMBA program ,but then this one is a US Degree and that still matters.

What about you. Thanks for the info on vault.

Got a question for the guys who have got admit in Dubai campus....... was dubai your first choice all along? Or did u apply for boston and coz of no seat availability there, you were offered a seat in Dubai????

The reason i am asking is, I have just completed my application today with the appl fees and all paid and am only interested in Boston....just wanna prepare myself beforehand if there are no seats available there......

I too have been offered a seat at Hult Boston. I was about to firm it by paying the initial deposit but then realized to do enough analysis to understand on the VISA CAP and JOB placements from the Alumini.

Does anyone have any numbers on them?

This is my concern

If you take Sep 2008 intake, you are likely to apply for OPT in October'2009. By which you will have 6 months to prove yourself in your work place so that by April 2010 your employer will apply H1B for you.
If H1B is successful you can start working from October 2010 using your H1B. But again there is a gap of month or two if your OPT expires even before October 2010.


If you take Jan 2009 class, you will be even at a bigger loss, as you will be left with just 3 months to prove yourself at your work place.

US VISA CAP – 65,000 in the general pool
- 20,000 for those with masters from US.

Everything is so fast and it requires enough diligence and preparation to win the Visa lottery
