Hi All,

I have an admit from Nanyang Business School for the MBA Program ( Banking And Finance). I have gone through some reviews and they are not encouraging ( especially the JOB/Placement scenario). I would like to know your views on the college/course and job prospects in general. Please let me know whether it is worth paying so much for this school. Also i would be thankful if any one of you can give me contact details of students presently doing their MBA in Nanyang.

I have also applied to Nanyang. I received a call from them at my place but i am out of town on an assignment so could not take their call. Can u tell me the name of the person who called u and their contact details so that i can get in touch wid them. Also plz let me know what all questions did they ask.

The mailing address is nbsmba@ntu.edu.sg . You can schedule your interview by mailing in to this address. They asked me standard questions like why finance, nanyang etc.

Can you tell us about your profile ?

While I dont have any firsthand information about Nanyang, I too have heard that the placements can be a problem. There is a blog maintained by an Indian student at Nanyang, you can search for it on the forum.
Did you try contacting the school for alumni details?
I think there is also a yahoo grp for NBS, NTU applicants, you could check there, if you have not already.

Finally, if you dont have a better option than Nanyang then you can definitely create opportunities for yourself at Nanyang. Just my opinion.

Hey Karthik,

As per my understanding, Nanyang is a good option and people do get job after doing their MBA from there. I dont have any stats wid me though.
How is the 1 year Nanyang-Waseda program? Did the interviewer tell u abt that?
