Hi. Im pleased to inform you that I have been admitted in the Wharton MBA program. After 2 gruelling years of MBA program research, I would be very happy to share information with people wanting to apply from India, or anywhere else. I hope I can make the admission process seem simpler, and less arduous for you guys!

Hi. Thank you for your post. That is a very good question, since differentiating your app is the key... ESPECIALLY for people from India who are in the most competitive pool for top B schools.
As far as your question is concerned, I think the key factor was my essays, which I spent a lot of time on. I also had a high verbal score on the GMAT, showed public speaking prowess, and taught 3 students in my building for verbal SAT, as well as verbal in the GMAT. Being an Indian engineer, I think that the adcomm is most interested in your communication abilities and verbal skills.
