Hi PG,
This is my first post to PG. I generally was curious that there is not much discussion about Ph.d Programs of Management in India/ abroad.

I came to start this discussion as I have got an admit to Ph.d Marketing Management program for Fall 2005 - with full aid with a decent monthly stipend . My I20 is due still.

Though I am interested in doing a doctorate, I am concerned about the job market for doctorates after I complete. It will be good if any one with proper knowledge give some insight on it.

Congrats dude , which univ u got into.

As for job market , im not sure but after a Phd in management , most people go for an academic career , although i have heard lot of people drop out in between to pursue regular jobs as they start getting good offers.
