hi guys... remember how i said im gonna give the gmat BHAGWAAN BHAROSEY?!? well it seemed to have worked. i got 750 ( q 49 v 44)
here is what i did.
at the end of jan i decided to start studies. well in fact my dad decided. he bought me three books. BARONS. KAPLAN MATH . AND PRINCETON REVIEW GMAT(WID CD) . I WAS EXPECTED TO STUDY.
i gave the princeton diagnostic.. but got 550. ill attribute that to scary movie running on ZMGM at that time. so i thot im doomed. i tried studying...but the books were so damned basic that i found em boring literally. AND I CAN SAY THAT FR EVERY1 WHO HAS STUDIED MATHS EVER TILL 10TH CLASS. or maybe a lot of shop assistants even!!!!
So i decided to take it easy... WHAT WILL BE WILL BE..QUE SOME CRAP SOME CRAP.... . I downloaded stuff in the meantime ... JUST GO TO IMESH/MORPHEUS... TYPE GMAT...AND U CAN DOWNLOAD AWFUL LOTTA CRAP ..TESTS TRICKS.. QUESTIONS...LOTSA STUFF. Well its still sitting pretty on my harddisk. what i did do was keep giving tests...there were 5 on the princeton cd... powerprep...downloaded ones... mustve given 9-10 in all.
my scores were fixed between 670..and 720 max. i knew this was my range. 670 on a bad day..720 on a gud day. avg day wud give me 700...so i was not anxious or anything. cmon afteralll i mustve given 1000+ tests in my 25 years!!!!
i completed 200 sc questions from the official guide...and 100 from the math section. kaplan barons and the other about 1300 sumthing questions of the OG are still waiting to be solved.
i had a deal wid GOD... dont let my score go below 670...and i wont crib. He liked the deal it seems.
i gave the last test on 17th..i kept 18th and 19th free( oye BUBBLY) GOT 710 ON IT.
18TH...TWO BEERS at ICECUBE at noida. 19TH one beer wid muh freind at my place. pizza. and two and half hours of fashion t.v. THE ONLY THING FR THE TEST I DID WAS..I WENT AND BOUGHT MYSELF TWO CANS OF REDBULL ENERGY DRINK ( REDBULL GIVES U wingsss
) now i was sure to come out wid flying colors.
morning...i woke at 0630....i cud understand nuthing ..coz i wake up at 1230
everyday !! anyways... drove to the centre...had a sandwich and a big bar of choco. any excuse is gud excuse!! from then on..it was a piece of cake. next thing i remember was the invigilator scolding me fr taking 9 minutes in a five minute break!!.. that caused no probs though. when i got the score ..i was like sheesh...650...then saw properly..it was 750. i didnt feel elated...just stupified sorts.
invigilator said CONGRATS. i cud only come up with a YEAH MAN!!
MOTTO OF THE WHOLE STORY: U WILL GET WHAT U DESERVE... IF U DONT DO NO SINS..ULL GET GUD FRUIT...AISA MAIN NAHIN KEHTAA..YEH GEETA MEIN LIKHA HAI.
SO GUYS STOP CRAMMING...THE QUESTIONS ARE NEVER HARD...GO WID UR GUT FEELING... ENJOY URSELF IN D TEST.. DONT BOTHER ABOUT THE RESULT...GMAT NAHIN CRACK KIYA TO BAAD MEIN CAT CRACK KAR DENA REY. CHEERS IN THE MEAN TIME.
