750 in GMAT (50Q, 41V) - 27-12-2008, 11:22 PM

Heya guys,
Gave GMAT today and scored a 750!
Basically the prep strategy was to cover aspects of SC, CR and RC thru practice and get used to the "GMAT english". My quant was pretty much okay as I am an engineer by profession... that says all.

so started off my the prep arnd 4 months back and finished OG11, kaplan and ManhattanGMAT material and loads of prep tests from PR, GMAT prep and kaplan...

on the test day...AWAs went pretty well ...started with quant after the break was pretty lengthy as i felt time shortage for the last bunch of questions...
My advice is to take breaks to cool urself down of the test anxiety.
well, after the break started off with verbal...went off well as it seems from the 41 ...was tough though.

This was my experience in brief..gotta rush with apps...so dont have much time left for blogging

cya take care

Hi, Congratulations on such a wonderful score.
Could you please elaborate a little more regarding your test experience. Specially, did you face any surprises in terms of your preparation and what you encountered during the test?

hi rajatmeh,
thanks!
well for my test experience i think was pretty cool on that day...i got @ center arnd 5 min late, but there were so many other people also late..i finished my AWA with arnd 10 mins in hand..but Q was pretty lengthy and about V it was nearly same level as GMATPrep, which was a surprise as i expected V to be harder.

when are u appearing for it?
my suggestion: prepare from OG11, kaplan and take as many practice test as you can, needless to say dont appear for exam without giving GMATPrep..
feel free to ask anything...
