Re: 750 in GMAT (50Q, 41V) - 07-03-2009, 12:40 PM

I used

the official guide
the official guide verbal review
Kaplan premiere program (book + cd + online practice)
800score tests
800score AWA guide

Q score range - 37-41
V score range - 41-44

Score range - 620-680

The Q section was similar to the questions in prep materials but V was very different.

I wouldn't be taking the exam again any time sooner though. Will concentrate on building the profile.

sjed, can u tell me which Bschools(MBA in marketing) in US ld be happy with 640 and 1 yr of media research exp.

mate, its very rare to get a better or same score in actual GMAT as compared to ur highest mock test score! so in my opinion what max u cud hv got with this kinda prep wud be a 680 or so..

dude 1 yr is less for a bschool in US, but there are exceptions based on applicant's experience and ability to learn...u need to search on usnews for the bschool profiles for specifications.

nyways, best of luck for ur aspirations, ur decision to wrk on ur profile is correct @ this time
