Not so good scores....

Quant 400/400 - 47
Verbal 190/400 - 19

This thread seems to have gone dry. (Pls correct my english) anyways, i will be giving my GMAT on 8th of July and have not started any serious preparations yet. though have free material in GBs courtesy internet. Also, just a bit abt me

currently with HDFC Bank.
and looking for IIMs, ISB in 2009.

I got fed up with my procrastination over the last few months and I booked my date today - 16th of July, 2008 - 0900 hrs it is!

Well, time to get working now!

My Profile:
B.Tech (Metallurgy) from IITM - 7.79 CGPA
Functional Consultant with PwC - 2 years now
Extracurriculars - Nothing spectacular
PoA now - GMAT, Social Service over weekends, German Certification

Well if u r targeting IIMs, ISB then GMAT will be applicable only for ISB....
Are u targetting any Asian B-schools also???

Hi all,

I m looking for 1 year MBA. If anyone can help me, what r the other important things other than the GMAT score and essays, which count in the selection for ISB and IIMs.
Fatalerror, i wud also like to know abt the social service on weekends. i think weekend is the only time to study and reflect back on your preparations when u r working. and also wat is this german certification and how helpful is this.

Also, what schools r u targeting. I m looking for IIM A, C and ISB. I dont have much idea of phoren schools. also, since i m married i think thats not an option for me.
