Yup I agree.. we need a plan for sure..
From wat ever research iv done.. here's my take on the plan..

Step 1. Take a Diagnostic Test .. many r available free online.. else take one free frm IMS etc..
Step 2. Based on ur score.. u can determine where r u stand nd hence how much u tme wud need for ur prep.
Step3. Start with Kaplan Premier Prog. This book conatins a cd too for additional practise.
Step4. After finishing Kaplan we need to master Official Guide Review.
Step 5. Next target is Kaplan 800
Step6. Official Guide Review Verbal.

Finally pray to god .. go out there ..nd max ur paper..

Please provide views/inputs on the above plan.. we cud start together.. nd compare our progress..

It is a great thought to gauge our preps parallel to other peers with same aspirations. I am also planning to appear for GMAT in July/August. I have planned for my diagnostic test for nest weekend.
Lets make well defined group of motivated ppl who would like to really come together for GMAT preparations and meet up sometime over the weekends to discuss our progress and share our problems and insights about how can we improve upon weaknesses( I really liked the concept of PG GMAT meets....history shows that ppl who have worked on their individual weaknesses mutually have come out with flying colors).

Please let me know who all are interested in this marathon

I propose to follow a common study plan with exact deadlines marked ,once we are done with our diagnostic tests by the next weekend - 19th April

Although we'll keep studying as per our interests through out this week.
