Well you are rite, not much is happening in this post, i hope there are Mumbaiaites like me preparing for GMAT. My G-Day is 8th Sept. In my preparation so far, i am done with Princeton and not working with OG11. How about others? Does anyone else has a G-day close to my date? How are they preparing. I guess sharing pointers will surely help.

Heya,
I'm taking the GMAT on the 30th of Aug.
So far.. my scores are very weird.

GMat PowerPrep (the Mba.com test) : 650
Kaplan Test 2: 570
Kaplan Test 3: 540

Seems like I'm getting dumber.
I'm 3 days away from the test, and I guess there's not much more I can do.
Just try and my best and see what I can get away with :P

Btw, do other's also face similar problems with the Kaplan?
I find their questions impractical for the GMAT. Some are too long, and would take over 2 min even if you followed their solution method.

You are rite about Kaplan, the tests are on the tougher side and not comparable to the actual GMAT. In fact i saw couple of posts wherein people had even discussed adding 80-100 points to the Kaplan score. Having said that, it is definately good practice material.

I think you doing the right think by not taking this scores too seriously and going ahead with your exam. All the best bro....

1. Pearson Professional Centers-Mumbai, Mumbai, MAH, India
2. GMAT Event Testing-Mumbai, Mumbai, MAH, India

Hey Schuler,
I haven't heard if the 2nd centre you've mentioned. When I signed up, I only got Pearsons, no options.
I've taken my GMAT before, and the Pearsons centre (the one at Solitaire park in ANdheri) is quite nice.

COUNTDOWN: 1 day 18 odd hours to GMAT.
Last Score : 690 GMATPrep 2
Target: 760!
