You are right about taking the exams anytime during the year, although you will have to plan for it and take the dates in advance.
I started preparing for GMAT couple of weeks back and here are the books which i am reffering: - Princeton, edition of 2006: This book gives you the very basic material for GMAT. Good for people like me who are getting to books after a long time, 6 years to be precise.
- Kaplan, 2008: I did some research and people say that Kaplan is a good book to refer to for your GMAT preparation.
- OFFICIAL GUIDE 11: THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT of all. You must go through this book in and out. I have kept this last so that by the time i reach to this i have my basic funda's in place and also doing this book closer to the exam will help in remembering the concepts given that i dont have a good memory.
Hope this helps. Cheers !! NiDo. "ThOsE wHo DoN't TaKe RiSkS, aCtUaLlY rIsK mOrE" | | | | | | | |

Hi All,
Please go thru it if you would like to know about the books , tips , do's/don'ts etc from GMAT successfully passed ( with 720 marks ) guy .. he shared his experience here.. I found it very much useful since I am not very much aware of all the books and stuff --
