Taking GMAT in US - 11-03-2008, 08:54 AM

Hi
Can anybody tell me if GMAT verbal is tougher in the US (it being their first language) or the level is same world wide. I took GMAT in India got 710, planning to take again and right now I'm in the US...so wanted to chk

this thread can be used not just to talk about the test content and difficulty, but cld also be used to discuss about the various pro's and con's about taking GMAT in the US.
more so if one is working in the IT industry where there is chance of going onsite, this discussion can be helpful

You get questions on the GMAT independent of your geographic location. All questions are drawn from a database that throws up questions of randomly. If they did a geographic profiling, everybody would be trying to game the system and taking the test elsewhere.

Dont worry about level of difficulty. Focus instead on your own performance in the mock tests and your continued improvement.
