Lightbulb Phoren B-school 2009 aspirants - 13-10-2007, 09:58 AM

Nope!! There isn't a typo in the title..
This thread is for those of us who don't want to rush at the eleventh hour, those who are clear what they want one year from now and who plan to spend the next one year moving towards their final destination

At the same, the thread can accommodate those too, who had planned to app this year, but after some introspection or reality-check, decided that they are not admission-worthy this year and should better think of waiting another year and try to have a better shot..

BTW, I fall in the second category...

So janta, let's get going!! We've one year to prepare for our dream destination!! Let's share ideas on how can we plan for a stronger application..
Pagal Gurus! Plzz find some time to drop in and share ur expert opinions..

One thing that will start to worry you'll later and I really believe you'll should start working from now is Finance.

baccardisprite made a great post where he said no matter how small, start saving today. You'll are looking at an MBA pretty far ahead. Tuition fee is shooting up so it makes sense for you'll to start saving from today itself. Dont count on FinAid or Scholarships. Even if you do get them, your savings will go a long way in helping you live life a little easier. There are a lot of associated costs with doing an MBA in a top school, costs that dont get reported but are an integral part of b-school life( think dinners, get -togethers,outings.....)
