Thanks buddy, though my Kap software has some prob. If I try to review my ans, it just displays me the essay and doesn't take me forward.

I completed the first round of GMATprep. Would take the 2nd round [re-install] and PowerPrep tests towards end. Now revising SC rules from Manh.
And guys, you can register for one free online test from Manhattan. I will be taking it next week. My G-day in Sep-8

There is no issue with ur Kaplan s/w...once u have completed the test and u click on review answers...it will show u ur first essay...on the menu bar..u will see "Explainations"...click on that and select the section which u want to review...hope that helps...

I can't just stop laughing.. I never observed the Explanations part on top [maybe it is grayed out]. I was expecting some tab on the screen itself.
Thanks buddy Vicky. Now I can go back and review all my 3 tests ...nice that I posted !!

@lokguru
As Vicky rightly mentioned that dont take Kaplan score's too seriously and focus on the mistakes that u did. Kaplan test scores are big de-motivators. I suggest look at the GMAT prep scores for getting an idea of your scoring. In fact i read in some forums that whatever your average GMAT prep score is, your actual GMAT score is +30 or -30 range.

All the best for 8th Sept.

Cheers !!

eyy...thanks dude. I just took PowerPrep test-1. I was shocked to see the score .. It touched 760. Maybe I was too lucky . It gave a percentile of 99, however for Verbal it was 95% [4 mistakes] and Quant 97% [4 mistakes] [so nt sure how did it calculate]. Anyways, all my need is just a 720+ . I have few more days; hope I will be there...

And also any advice on AWA? I have never touched it. I was planning to keep a day aside for it, would it be enough, any advice

Hi all,

Finished my GMAT today... only 660 (Q49, V30) 83 percentile... I know its a low score... i do not intend to apply with this score for colleges..

Quant was good, but had doubts in many answers in verbal, kept vacillating on 2 choices after eliminating the obvious wrong ones....

Please suggest options... I opted the score be sent to ISB, NUS, Nangyang,Hongkong HKUST, and Great lakes in Chennai

am not a great expert to advice; however my take would be to give a second try. As you are good in quant, maybe you just need to focus on verbal.

Re: GMAT takers JUL/AUG 2008 - 31-08-2008, 01:58 PM

Guys,

I am done with GMAT. Here are my scores:

AWA - 6.0
Q - 51 (99%)
V - 19 (16%) Total - 590.

Screwed up my verbal section. I am planning for a re-take of the exam, any suggestions please?

Thanks,
Viswanath
