Although you might be expecting a better score but you have very bright chances with a 700. And as someone said its not the end of the journey, its just the start, so I think you should just stop worrying about this and start preparing for your application process in full throttle if you are thinking of applying this season.
It will be great for puys like us to know as how you felt about the real GMAT exam.
All the best for the apping season! |
Nikdo/Dopa .... As far as I feel, I got way different score on the real GMAT when compared to GMATPrep or MGMAT.
GMATPrep - 720 and 740
MGMAT - 680,680, 690, 700, 710, 740
As I told, I dont know if it was the absence of sleep that brought in any reduction in mental power or any real tough qs. For me verbal was tougher than the GMATPrep, and ended up scoring 36 [vs 41 in GMATprep]. I got 70% of RC questions on those indirect ones..like the assumption, stupid author's feelings, 1st para structure N all..Maybe my selection was not right.
Also CR was on tougher side, something like you have to go in a realistic fashion outside the scope or boundary of the passage. The problem here is that you are not really able to decide how far you should assume or go out of scope
And man...those SC's were real long passages. I just got one SC which was within two lines. The rest all were 2-3-4 lines. It was testing literally all the SC concepts.....
I have read people posting the GMAT was equivalent to GMATprep or easier N all....Towards end I guess what it matters equally along with your preparation is your luck and presence of mind.
Well I am thinking of taking it again...being an IT engg, my chance with 700 are bleak...and am also so lucky to have no particularly gr8 achievements...
