Is that the first Princeton's test you are talking about? The break up looks correct. In GMATprep you can get 51 with as much as 4 errors. Even the verbal score looks reasonable. However, the overall score is definitely low. I got a 750 with Q50, V40 so you can make your guess. However, if you take the level of Princeton's questions into account, deflating the scores slightly makes sense.
Dude, when in your test? Your prep looks good.
Best of luck
Bro... it was the PR-3 i.e. the 3rd test,,,,I got the ur point...makes sense.
my G-day is on 6th sept...will report the GMAT prep score tommorow...

I am done with my GMAT - 27-08-2008, 12:49 PM

Guys,

I finished my GMAT and these are my scores:

AWA - 6
Q - 51
V - 19

Total- 590.

Can any one help me regarding my verbal? I am unable to manage this section from the beginning, even after repetitive tests on all manhattan, kaplan, OG 10, 11, etc....

Any suggestions please?

Thanks.

@ vschirravuri

Your score in Quant is outstanding man, 51 thats a awesome score, if you would have done good in verbal, you would have definitley touched the 700 figure.

My 2 cents for Verbal --

As you mentioned that your verbal was not that good from starting and you took several tests but that didn't help.
Have you thought over those tests especially about verbal as what are your weak areas and what kind of mistakes you are doing ?
Giving too many tests will NOT help you unless and until you work on improving the areas which you are not that good at.

As you asked about suggestions, I think you already made up your mind for re-test, if yes, try to relax for 2-3 days and then start thinking over the verbal section again. What section you were not confident in - RC, CR, SC ? And then try to find out as whats the basic problem which you are facing. You can go through some of the excellent posts by some of the gmat gods, you'll definitely find some way for your problem and then again give gmat and you can beat it big time

And you got a dream score in AWA...congrats for that

I think you should share with us as how you prepared for Quant and AWA, did you find the difficulty of quant questions well above the questions in OG ?

Hope it helps!

thanks Dopa and Karan,

I 'll try the same, only thing is either i go too fast and make some silly mistake or too slowly to be very sure and screw up the timing.I'm only talking about V as Q is not a problem.

Also please can someone suggest any other CAT other than princeton (i dont want to try kaplan and GMAT prep ontains repetition of OG which i've done).

Guys I know that Kaplan tests are hard and that once can add 100 to get an eq GMAT score.. Anyone here took Kap tests? Bit worried a 630 in Kap would have boosted my spirits. I would love to get a 720+ ...but not sure now... bit tensed...any advice or thoughts

dude !!!

Kaplan tests...aahh...take them just for the sake of taking them don't really care bout the score...just see what all mistakes you made...and try not to repeat them...kaplan tests are good for time management...and learning from ur mistakes...don't really care bout the scores...

Best of luck
