570 560 620 600 in kaplan tests and 680,710,720 in princeton.

Also just a stupid question GMAT prep is the 3 tests u get from mba.com or is it powerprep? are they two diff things? My ignorance is due to the fact that i have still not taken any tests...

Kap 800 is good. esp if u attempt it after u get comfortable with the basics. RCs are killer in terms of complexity, SC has a novel approach with special focus on tough/rare question types like ellipsis/Subjunctive mood. I have the paper book and havent found the ebook as yet.

Powerprep is the older version of GMATprep, its not available on mba.com nemore, but u can download it from either esnips or find the relevant torrent. Plenty of questions overlap in powerprep, gmatprep OG10, OG 11 and OG supplements, but they are the closest u can get to the real thing, so no harm doin these questions as many times as u can. Though if u r taking GMATPrep after doing OG, u may want to shave off 20 pts to get a more accurate score estimate.

For SC, I found a nice compilation of notes "Alok's SC Notes". Search for it on pg/google. Its a nice read for non-native speakers of english like us.

I would suggest you to give either powerprep or GMATprep tests before u start with the Kaplan tests. They are more likely to give you a better estimate of ur score.


As for ebooks, I dont hv Kap800 ebook, pm me if u r lookin 4 ne other ebook specefically.

Can anyone suggest a good budget Hotel to stay near the JB road, Mumbai center for GMAT? Something around Rs. 1000 per night would be great.

From wikimapia, I could see that the center is close to the Airport. However, all the star rated hotels like Leela, ITC are way out of my budget. So, something around 10 minutes drive from the Solitaire park would also do.

i am too giving my GMAT on 19th Aug. and m from banagalore. as far as prep is considered , its not going as planned......
i started with OG11 and still doing that...........
can we along with few more make a group ...so that we can get more in less time...............
