I thought i should give it a shot by JAN end, what with CAT and XAT preps helping out.. what say guys?? should i or should i not??
I hate to be a party pooper but there's more to apping abroad than simply giving the GMAT. There's something called Rounds of Admission and Essays which are quite important you know. By Jan end, R2 would have ended for all colleges leaving you to apply for R3. Dont mean to scare ya but Indians are generally advised to apply in R1/R2 more so if you are an Indian/IT/Male

Oh, the essays are often the deal breaker for a lot of applicants. So all the best writing them

On a side note, i doubt you'll will study much of the material that gets uploaded. I have over 1.5Gb of stuff, didnt study most of it and still scored a 710. I doubt you have the time to study everything.

Study wisely. Study Smartly.

Well, thanks for the info mate.. Though i do know abt these stuff.. Btw, i have a problem.. Im looking at UK as the preffered option, but preliminary investigations suggest that the schools im lookin into all need a min 3 yrs workex.. i have 26 months as of dec.. The question is will they cut corners with workex, provided i have good scores and all??

And im a non IT guy, a marine engineer infact.. but presently workin in brand consulting... so is there a prob regarding my crazy work profile??

Re: GMAT takers JUL/AUG 2008 - 17-12-2007, 11:24 AM

Hi All,
Planning to take GMAT again in July/August 2008. This September ended with a miserable score of 590. Hope to do well this time. I am planning to join Coaching as i am not good in Maths especially Geometry..Hope to give some inputs on Verbal and get a lot more outputs in Maths... in this thread.

Thanks and Regards,
Menka
