Hi,

Am planning to take GMAT around end of Aug. I am taking OG11 first as it is from GMAC and is best placed to be most representative of the exam. Once i get a feel of the exam, i would decide upon my next material.

What about you people? What are you starting with and what is your preparartion plan?

Hi Abhilasha,
Kindly be precise about the material you require. There is a plethora of material for GMAT prep which will take you a life time to complete.
If you are a beginner then I would suggest the following material for you

1) OG 11
2) Manhattan SC guide (Indispensibe)
3) Kaplan 800
4) 1000 series (only after you are through with OG and KAPLAN)
5) Tests (GMATprep, Kaplan, Manhattan and Princeton)
The more tests you can take the better. But make sure that you simulate the actual exam conditions while you take these.

Most of the material is available for download at 5GB of free space to upload and share your files, photos, videos and music - eSnips.com.
Make some efforts in trying to find them and if you are still unable to get them, reach out to us again.

Best of luck

Hi
This is ani. New to this.

I have booked the date for appearing GMAT on Sep 1st (got the morning slot)

Quant:
1)I am planning to start my preparation with some basics in Maths (GRE Maths review)
2)Will take the OG11 completely

Verbal:
1)updating some grammer stuff
2)Will take the OG 11 stuff for verbal
3) AWA practice by reading the GMAC topics

I have some old stuff from net.

Hi Visu,
U must understand that different people have different caliber and the time required for preparing for GMAT is very subjective.
However, you should kee atleast 2 months time for preparation. If you can sincerely study for 2-3 hours on weekdays and 4-5 hours on weekends the you can definitely put up a good show.
