I have just now started thinking about preparing for gmat ...will give around aur end or sep ...can you please tell me how shud i start preparing for ir ..considering i m a very average student ..If you guys have material plz share it with me

gud 2 see dat u startd prep so early.. i comited a major blunder by preparing only 4 a few weeks.. still managed 2 get a decent score of 730
go thru lots of mocks in these few days.. infact dats de only thngwhich i did
since u r planing 4 a mba, u may need an education loan as well.. go thru dis link. 1 of my cousins opted 4 it.. they offer extremely quick & hassle free service. it was of immense help 2 her & wil be to u 2.. best of luck !

Hi,

can someone please advise if the questions in the OG_sc(11th ed.) are same as in OG book(11th ed.)

I am not able to find the book anywhere in the market and it might be available in another 3-4 days, in the mean time can I start with OG_SC??

Guys,

I have just finished going thru OG-11, verbal section. Had an accuracy around 70% and time per Q was close to 2 mins.

RC is a challenge for me, CR is okay, and struggle with SC sometimes.

Please suggest how to improve the accuracy for these sections and how to reduce time/Q.

Having done OG-11, what should i look fwd to next ?

Also, please advise me, which mock tests to take and at what intervals.

I am planning to take GMAT in july-end.

Hi,

I have practiced 3 Kaplan GMAT tests. The scores are -

Test 1 - 590
Test 2 - 630
Test 3 - 600.

I see that my performance in CR and RC are dismal. I have practiced OG11 and Manhattan SC as well as Kaplan Premier. Please provide some tips on improving scores in RC and CR sections.

Sorry if this is a stupid question -
Is there any sectional cutoff for GMAT or just the overall score that matters??? Please advice.

I am yet to book for a date in the month of Aug.....
