i m in the same boat as you ...Its a pain keeping awake and making your gey cells work after you've had 9 harrowing hours in office !..But i guess everyone here has a similar schedule..consideing only work ex people take GMAT !!
We could do some sorta daily tracker or sumthing...just might push us all to work harder....As in we log in everyday and clock in what we have done…share our problems..learnings….whatever…maybe have designated days wherein we all take diagnostics etc.
Wat do u guys have to say ?

After all, tomorrow is another day.

Has anybody tried sleeping earlier and waking up early in the morning? Its only a matter of 3months or so and one would think its well worth the trouble no?

Saying you are working is no excuse for not doing well on the GMAT more so if you are an IIM because tons of people take the GMAT AND do well AND have a far more busier lifestyle than you or i.

Prep Tips ( this is what i did. YMMV )

If i had to study the theory part, I would do that first. Somewhere there's a grid that breaks down OG problems topic wise. I'd use that to practice 40problems of (PS/DS/CR/SC), timing myself to finish within 70mins.
Track my mistakes following the tracker (you should probably find this also somewhere)
Use the weekends to take 1 test in the strictest of conditions (ok i skipped the AWA part but i did take the remainder of the exam locked in my room )
Track my mistakes.
Ask Qs repeatedly. I wasn't in the least bit embarrased to ask if i didnt get it. Hey, 10,000K is a lot of money!!

Repeat above process

Oh yeah: Find/form a support group. Be real handy when it comes to bouncing ideas off each other for essays.

Verbal is low and therefore that could be problematic for you. Have you worked out why that is low? Have you done the SCG??

the SCG? r u referrin to the manhattan SC?i havent gone thru that yet.
i found that i got 6 RC Qs wrong there(4 SC n 3 CR).
Getting the RC score to a decent level seems to b some task.Although i do pretty well in RC when nottaking a test, i screw it up under time constraints.Totally clueless abt wat to do abt it now.

Dude you've finished the OG11 without going through ManhattanSCG? Why? WHy?? WHY???

Come on man, the SCG is the bible of SC and the OG is the bible of SC questions on the GMAT!! There's an art to perfecting SC and it comes from doing the SCG. The OG is not a quarter as good for SC as is the SCG. I never studied the notes in OG i simply followed the SCG. Its a fantastic book, and at the end of each chapter, is a list that details which of the Qs in the OG are based on that particular topic. That's an awesome way for you to get familiar with the types of SC questions being asked in the GMAT. Getting a 90%(Atleast) accuracy in SC is possible and that's a real boon.
Go do the book first and re-attempt the OG SC. I'll be very surprised if your accuracy hasnt gone up.

As for RC, all i can say is practice. I had studied for the CAT before so was pretty comfortable with RC that way. Didnt have much problem with them.

but neo i already got around 90% SC Qs rite on the OG11 as well as the gmatprep test.Theres always scope for improvement i know and i will be working on the manhattan sc surely now.
but u see thats not the weakest link for me coz RC is wats getting my score down.so thats y i wanna focus on the RC a lil more than the CR n SC for about 5 days n then go ahead with more tests.
Pls tell me if im wrong.
